Imperium Dance Company Levels

I.minis (ages 5-9)

​

This mini level is a competitive starter program for our youngest dancersTechnique and choreography classes for this group include strength, flexibility, ballet, turns, tap, jazz, acro, and hip-hop. Members will compete in 1-3 group dances. I.minis will attend and perform in 2 local conventions, 3 regional competitions and 1 nationals each

season.

I.squad (ages 10-13)

​

This competitive level will be chosen through an auditioning process from advanced dancers ages 10 to 13. Technique and choreography classes for this group include strength, flexibility, leaps, turns, ballet, jazz, acro, lyrical, tap and hip-hop. Members will compete in advanced competitive groups and will be required to attend studio masterclasses in order to prepare them for the next step in their dance training. These members are required to attend 8 studio masterclasses, 2 conventions, 3 regional competitions and 1 nationals each season.

I.teens (ages 14-16)

​

This competitive level will be chosen through an auditioning process from advanced dancers ages 14-16. Technique and choreography classes for this group include strength, flexibility, leaps, turns, ballet, jazz, acro, lyrical, tap and hip-hop. Members will compete in advanced competitive groups and will be required to attend studio masterclasses in order to prepare them for the next step in their dance training. These members are required to attend 8 studio masterclasses, 2 conventions, 3 regional competitions and 1 nationals each season.

I.seniors (ages 16-18)

​

This collection of dancers, ages 16-18, will be chosen through an auditioning process from students who are committed to a higher level of dance training. We are out to motivate our dancers by exposing them to the highest caliber of training available. They intensely train 4 days a week, 10-14 hours per week with a well-rounded curriculum that consists of ballet, strength, flexibility, turns, leaps, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, tap, acro, and hip-hop. I.teen members will have the opportunities needed to prepare them for college dance teams, dance art programs or a professional career in dance.  This group is required to attend 8 studio masterclasses, 2-3 conventions, 3 regional competitions and 1 nationals each season.
